Simplified Choir (Unis. Women & Unis. Men) with organ. (#1001.1)
  • Mood: Bold, with increasing intensity to the end. 
  • Beginning Key: F Major; Ending key: Ab Major

Notes: 
  • The SSAATTB Choir version is difficult, with high notes in the Soprano part. This score would be most suitable for an advanced stake choir accustomed to dividing frequently.
  • The simplified version is much easier.  It is keyed a minor 3rd lower and is nearly all unison singing with divided chords only at the final cadence. 
  • Both scores feature the same accompaniment -- just in different keys. 
  • Full orchestrations are available upon request (#1001.3). Call 801.I.Do.Song for details. 
  • For the simplified version only, an optional descant part score is also included.>>  This can be effectively performed by violins or flutes or played by a third hand trumpet on the organ.

Notes: 
  • This is one of my most-performed, most-requested pieces. 
  • A fully-orchestrated version is also available. Call 801.I.Do.Song for details. 
  • This song can be performed with a fairly inexperienced choir, although some of the phrasing an be challenging. 
  • A small typo was recently discovered in mm. 12, in the piano part. The bottom note should be a G, not an F. 
  • The violin is optional but adds a very rich sound when used. 
  • This song can be easily paired with Lord, When Thy Spirit's Love We Feel. See the youtube video>>>

  • This song features modulations, double-stops, and rolled chords on the violin. 
  • I'm still working some of the bugs out of this one. I'd really love some feedback on nice changes that would work well. Please contact me if you have suggestions for improvement.
