This four-part hymn was written in 2003 as my family and I drove across the United States. I sat in the back of the car slowly editing the words and crafting the harmonies. Upon arriving home, I was surprised when I sat down at the piano and discovered I had stumbled on to some very delightful and unique harmonies.

                      EMBRAER 120 Pre-Taxi Announcement
                      SSA Choir with minus track

Composed by Timothy Max. Performed by a choir of singing Flight attendants for their Flight Attendant School graduation ceremony.
                      Duration: 3 minutes

While training to be a flight attendant, I had trouble memorizing a required announcement. I decided to write a song to help me better learn the words and thankfully, I passed the required oral exam. A few weeks later, we found out that we would be having a graduation ceremony after flight attendant training ended so we decided to pull together a choir of 15 voices to perform this song, the Embraer 120 Pre-Taxi Announcement.

In 2007, I participated in a four week tour to China & Mongolia with the Brigham Young University-Hawaii Concert Choir. As part of the tour, one of my compositions, Ubi Caritas, was performed. This video is a 28 minute documentary of our experience. It also contains one-on-one interviews about Ubi Caritas.
