  • Mood: Easter Anthem
  • Beginning Key: C Major; Ending Key: C Major

Notes: 
  • This arrangement is versatile and flexible. It can easily be customized to fit your ensemble's needs. 
  • The organ part is the most difficult. All other parts are easy. 
  • It can be performed with or without the orchestral parts, or you may choose to customize it with flute only, violin only, or small ensemble of strings. 
  • Verse one can be performed by a vocal soloist, small vocal ensemble, or the entire choir.
  • Verse three is intended to be performed with the congregation joining in (also optional).  Use LDS hymnal page 200 to print in programs and turn and conduct the congregation. 
  • The organ part includes a third hand descant. This part may also be omitted if desired. 
  • The Violin III and viola parts are the same. Violin III may be used in the absence of enough violas.

Notes:
  • The flute/violin part is optional. If used, it may be performed as a solo (reading the top instrumental part only) or a duet.
  • The choir parts are the same as in the LDS Hymnal, so the choir can read out of the hymnal and making photocopies is not required. If you choose to do this, please use the following roadmap: Verse 1, begin men unison, everyone sings parts at Noel; Verse 2, begin women unison, everyone sings parts at Noel. 
  • This arrangement can easily be performed as a solo by singing the melody line only.

Notes: 
  • The accompaniment may be performed with a harp or piano. Pianists should roll chords similar to a harp. 
  • The choir part is very simple but is exposed in a couple of places. The piano/harp may play cue sized notes if desired. 
  • The two versions are similar, however, the Carol version features SATB throughout.

  • Mood:  Prayer with a slight medieval sound. 
  • Beginning Key: C minor;  Ending Key: F minor 

Notes: 

  • This piece has is one of the few LDS hymns written in a minor key. This arrangement has a beautiful violin melody throughout . 
  • This piece is simple with limited voice splitting and easy instrumentation. May be easily performed with a ward choir. 
  • This piece may be performed in a variety of ways. Instrumentations include: SATB Choir and Piano only, SATB Choir with violin or flute and piano, SATB Choir with piano and organ. 
  • A fully orchestrated version is also available. Call 801.I.Do.Song for details.
